Erica Price (she/her) is an ABD Ph.D. Candidate at Arizona State University studying environmental and urban history in the US South. Her dissertation looks at the political economy and management of water in French, Spanish, antebellum, and postbellum New Orleans and Orleans Parish to 1879. She is also interested in digital humanities and digital history as a method for scholarly research and sharing scholarship and findings with the academy and the public. Erica also studies board games in the United States and Gulf Piracy in the early 19th Century, and the Andrew Jackson and Robert E. Lee monuments in New Orleans.
